2 dead, 4 injured in shootings across St. Louis on July 5

ST. LOUIS – Two people are dead and four others are recovering after shootings throughout the City of St. Louis on July 5.

Officers responded to a triple shooting around 6:35 p.m. where the victims stated they were at the intersection of Arlington and Ridge when they heard several gunshots and felt pain. They were all transported to a hospital by private conveyance.

Around 7:44 p.m., officers responded to the M&A Market at 4231 Natural Bridge where they found 30-year-old Rachaud Grayer suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers were on patrol at the Peabody Housing Complex around 9:25 p.m. when they heard gunfire. Citizens flagged down the officers and were led to a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 1100 block of Dillion Drive. Orlando Wade, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Around 11:10 p.m., officers responded to the 5300 block of Wells where a 26-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.
