4th man charged in 2017 robbery of Richmond Heights jewelry store

All four of the men will serve at least 34 months in prison.

ST. LOUIS — The final Michigan man charged with robbing a Richmond Heights jewelry store in December of 2017 will spend more than five years in prison.

A press release from the Department of Justice said Robert Scott was sentenced to 65 months in prison for his role in the robbery.

Police said Scott, Tyran Gray, Darrell Lee and Xavier Grove smashed the display cases, grabbed the jewelry and ran off. 

There were several police officers in the area due to an unrelated incident. Those officers arrested all four men and recovered the $60,000 in stolen property.

Gray, Lee and Grove have already been sentenced. Grove got 42 months in prison, Lee got 36 months and Grove got 34 months.
