5 motorcycles stolen from Motorsports store in O'Fallon, Ill.

The owner told 5 On Your Side the bikes were Kawasaki Ninja bikes and he estimated the value to be around $40,000.

O’FALLON, Ill. – Police in O’Fallon are investigating after motorcycles were stolen from MetroEast Motorsports Friday morning. 

Around 2:30 a.m., police said five people broke into the store in the 1700 block of Frontage Road and stole five motorcycles.

The owner told 5 On Your Side the bikes were Kawasaki Ninja bikes and he estimated the value to be around $40,000.

The stolen bikes:

  • Green 2018 Kawasaki Ninja ZX14R
  • Green 2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX14R
  • Green 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 636
  • Green and black 2019 Kawasaki Ninja Z650
  • Silver 2018 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R

He said he has had the store for the past four years and has never had any incidents like this before. 

Police said all five people had their faces concealed and they were wearing helmets when they stole the bikes.

The investigation is ongoing.
