ST. LOUIS — An investigation is underway after two teens tried to rob a man outside a downtown St. Louis bar Tuesday night.

Officers responded to BB’s Jazz Bar at 700 South Broadway just before midnight on Tuesday. A 68-year-old man was loading items into his car when he was approached by two teens who demanded his keys. One of the teens pulled out a gun while the other teen took the man’s key fob.

Both teens got into the man’s car and tried to leave the scene, but they were unsuccessful, according to the police report.

They left the scene with the man’s key fob. The man was not injured.
