BUFFALO, NY (WGRZ-TV) -- A Sardinia woman is under arrest for having a homemade New York State license plate on a vehicle.
The Erie County Sheriff's Office says a deputy was patrolling Springville, when he noticed a vehicle with no front license plate and a homemade license plate in the back.
The deputy pulled over the driver, and discovered the vehicle was not registered and did not have insurance.
The driver, Amanda Schweickert, 28, is charged with a felony count of possessing a forged instrument, a misdemeanor count of operating a vehicle with a suspend registration and three vehicle and traffic infractions.
She is currently in the Erie County Holding Center in lieu of $400 bail, pending her court appearance in Springville court.
