ST. LOUIS COUNTY – A man has been charged after police said he shot and killed a man in north St. Louis County Sunday.
Devin Booker, 23, was charged with first degree involuntary manslaughter.
Police were called to the 11300 block of Bristol Rock for a shooting. When they arrived, they found Eric Clark, 22, inside a home suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the home.
According to a statement from police, Booker and Clark were both sitting in a vehicle comparing their guns. After emptying the magazine from his gun, Booker pulled the trigger in the direction of Clark. The gun fired and struck him. Clark died of a single gunshot wound to the chest.
Booker is being held on a $25,000 bond.
