Man charged in triple shooting that left 25-year-old dead

ST. LOUIS — A man was killed in a shooting involving several people late Monday night in north St. Louis, police said.

St. Louis police responded just before midnight to the 4400 block of Penrose Street for a triple shooting. This is just a few blocks west of O'Fallon Park near Interstate 70.

When they arrived, police found three men who were shot. Davion Arnold, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gregory Seddens, 28, was also shot, police said. He was taken to a nearby hospital and later arrested and charged. Seddens is facing counts of second-degree murder, first-degree burglary and armed criminal action. He’s in jail on a $250,000 cash-only bond.

Investigators found a firearm. The investigation is ongoing.
