A Wisconsin man was is facing charges in St. Louis County after police say he abused his mother Saturday.
According to charging documents from St. Louis County Police, Christopher Younger of Waukesha, Wis., threatened to kill his mother, who is over the age of 60. Police also said he slapped and punched her in the face, pushed her down the stairs, choked her and hit her with a wooden dining chair.
Police say Younger's younger brother came home and stopped the assault, at which time their mother went to the neighbor's house to call the police. She was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, the charging documents said.
Christopher Younger is charged with one count of first-degree elder abuse.
