An Alton, Ill., man is facing charges after police said he arranged to have sex with two children through a Craigslist ad posted by an undercover officer in 2015.

According to charging documents, Ryan C. Gosling, 35, responded to a Craigslist post published by an undercover officer going by the name of "Melissa" advertising "family fun".

The documents said Gosling responded to the ad discussing sexual acts he wanted to do with "Melissa" and her two daughters, both of which he believed to be under the age of 15.

On December 28, 2015, he texted a picture of his genitals to two different numbers he believed to be those of "Melissa's" children, documents show.

Gosling later went to a hotel with condoms and lubricant to meet with "Melissa" and her daughters.

Police arrested him, and they said he admitted to the offenses.

He is charged with two counts of enticement of a child and two counts of sexual misconduct involving a child. His bond was set at $50,000.

Gosling worked as a freelance photographer for NewsChannel 5 6 years ago.
