ST. LOUIS – Police are investigating after a mother and her son were robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital over the weekend.
According to police, the incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. Friday. No one was injured during the robbery. It’s unclear what the suspect got away with.
“Cardinal Glennon Staff took every measure possible to address the situation, and check in with the victims.” Hospital spokesperson Denise Nazzaro said over the phone Saturday, “We always have security on staff across our campus, and preventing or addressing these sorts of incidents is always at the forefront.”
