MAPLEWOOD, Mo. -- A Pagedale man has now been charged in a Maplewood carjacking.

Police believe 22-year-old Randall Taylor was one of four men who stole a man's car at gunpoint. It happened around 1:45 a.m. on January 12 in the 7400 block of Lyndover. The victim says he was approached by four men and shoved to the ground and struck repeatedly in the head and face with a gun.

The 2010 Ford Focus was found in St. Louis city later that day, occupied by four men including Taylor.

Police say the victim identified Taylor as the gunman.

He has been charged with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. He's being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
