Person of interest wanted in stabbing death near Shrewsbury Walmart

SHREWSBURY, Mo. — New photos released by St. Louis County Police show a person of interest in a homicide investigation in Shrewsbury. They’re asking for the public’s help in identifying the man.

The man is possibly connected to the stabbing death of 33-year-old Justin Hughes. His body was found July 15 in a wooded area behind Walmart on Watson Road.

Two people already have been charged in the case.

Robin Holland, 28, was charged with second-degree murder and three other charges. Abigail Miller, 21, was charged with abandonment of a corpse in connection.

Prosecuting attorney Bob McCulloch said Holland, Miller and Hughes met up near the Walmart to go drink and do drugs in the woods, but Holland and Hughes got into an argument. McCulloch said Holland stabbed Hughes about five times, left him for dead in the woods and got rid of the knife.
