Police: Dog that attacked toddler in Normandy caught

The release said the dog was not microchipped, so police are still looking for the dog's owner.

Normandy Police said the dog that attacked a 2-year-old girl visiting relatives for Christmas has been captured.

According to a press release from the Normandy Police Department, the dog was located and captured thanks to community numerous tips from residents.

The release said the dog was not microchipped, so they have not been able to identify the owner yet.

Anyone with information about the dog's owner is asked to call the Normandy Police Department at 314-385-3300.
