Police investigating triple shooting in north St. Louis

All three victims were conscious and breathing when they were taken to the hospital.

ST. LOUIS — Three people were found shot in north St. Louis Monday afternoon.

Police said two of the victims were found shot at the intersection of Goodfellow Boulevard and St. Louis Avenue, near Barrett Brothers Park at around 5:15. The third victim was found nearby at the intersection of Goodfellow and Natural Bridge Avenue.

Two victims were shot in the upper body and the other was shot in the leg. All three were conscious and breathing when they were taken to the hospital.

The victims told police they were traveling through the intersection of Goodfellow and St. Louis Avenue when the occupants of a black vehicle began shooting at them.

The investigation is ongoing.
