Two arrests have been made after a shooting in Dutchtown ended in a police pursuit Sunday afternoon.
Initially, officers responded to the 4000 block of Nebraska Avenue around 1:45 p.m. where a man in his mid-20s was shot in his lower back. After arriving, police were notified that a vehicle involved in the shooting had been seen near Union Boulevard and Thekla Avenue.
After a brief pursuit, police located two suspects in the same area of Union and Thekla. Both suspects were taken into custody.
Police say the wounded man was taken to a nearby hospital where his condition is unknown.
