Stolen car from St. Charles County chased through multiple counties, ends in arrest

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. — Police are seeking charges against a man who led them on a chase in a stolen car through multiple counties Tuesday afternoon.

A spokeswoman for the St. Charles County Police Department said they attempted to stop the man in a stolen Mazda near the intersection of Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Cottleville Parkway a little before 2 Tuesday afternoon.

The driver did not stop and led police on a high-speed chase through St. Charles and St. Louis counties before being arrested on the 1400 block of Amherst Terrace near the border of St. Louis City and Wellston.

Police said they plan to seek multiple charges against the driver. A woman was in the car at the time of the arrest, but police did not say anything about potential charges against her.
