“If you've ever seen a philosopher as a child, Justice was that. He could turn a bad situation into beauty. He loved to do art, he loved football, and he wanted to go to the Navy. So tomorrow I was going to take him to the Navy and sign him up, after high school,” his uncle said.

Arty said Justice went to McDonald's after visiting his grandmother in the hospital.

“We were in the hospital with my mother the day it happened and he was here the entire day, making her feel beautiful," Arty said.

It was the last time Arty got to give his nephew a hug.

“Right before he left this room, he looked at me and said 'Uncle, I'll be back,' and I said 'Where are you going, nephew?' and he said 'I'll be back,' and I just hugged him and that's the last time I seen him.”

The Major Case Squad responded and has taken over the investigation with 16 investigators working on the incident.

The Major Case Squad is seeking any information from the community to assist in identifying those responsible.
