BALLWIN, Mo. – Firefighters rescued two climbers stuck on the side of a cliff at Castlewood State Park Thursday evening.
A spokesman with the Metro West Fire Department said the two climbers were about 50 feet from the top of the cliff. The spokesman said a group of rescuers worked to help them.
First responders said the hikers got about halfway up the cliff when they got stuck and needed help. The first responders said no one was injured.
