CASEYVILLE, Ill. — First responders said eight people were injured in a rollover bus crash in Caseyville, Illinois.
The St. Clair County Emergency Management Agency said multiple agencies are responding to the scene near the intersection of Route 157 and Sterling Place, and chopper video showed people on the scene being loaded into ambulances.
The crash was first reported by St. Clair County EMA at around 3:15.
The Caseyville Police Chief said there were developmentally delayed adults on the bus. He also said there were three cars involved in the crash, and two people were trapped in their vehicles. One person was flown from the scene by helicopter.
Everyone in each of the vehicles in the crash suffered some kind of injury, the chief said.
As of 3:50, no traffic was getting through on 157.
