ST. LOUIS — For the fifteenth straight year, the Cardinals, Fox Sports Midwest and the American Red Cross will host the St. Louis Cardinals Blood Drive around St. Louis.

The blood drive will be hosted in 21 different locations around the St. Louis area and will offer a specially designed St. Louis Cardinals t-shirt to anyone who attempts to donate blood. The event will run from Tuesday through Thursday.

"You can make a difference and help save lives. All it takes is an hour of your time. I encourage Cardinals fans and the entire community to come out and donate blood at this year's blood drive," said Cardinals outfielder Dexter Fowler in a statement.

Fredbird and Team Fredbird will also be making appearances at select locations through the blood drive event.

How do I donate blood?

There are several ways to donate blood. The Red Cross suggests downloading the American Red Cross Blood Donor App — available on iPhone and Android — or by visiting their website, RedCrossBlood.org. Enter the sponsor code 'CARDS' on either platform to book an appointment or receive more information on the blood drive event. 1-800-RED CROSS (733-2767) is also available for booking appointments.

The Red Cross requests donors bring a blood donor card, driver's license or two other forms of identification upon check-in. Anyone younger than 18-years-old may have to meet certain height and weight requirements to donate blood.
