Boeing recently signed a trio of deals that highlight its growing role as a fast-moving, forward-thinking global technology company that also happens to make airplanes.
Boeing reported few jetliner sales in the perennially slow month of February. But it completed three agreements and investments that “reflect Boeing looking beyond airplanes coming out of Everett and Renton, and going into the supply chain to find little pockets to exploit,” said AirInsight Research analyst Addison Schonland.
“They allow Boeing to see things from 50,000 feet,” he said. “I like what they’re doing. Expect to see more of it.”
