On Sunday fans braved the cold for the Cardinals game at Busch stadium, and many people said whether it was rain, sleet or snow outside they would still be there.

Baseball players are known as "the boys of summer" but it felt more like winter at Busch Stadium Sunday. However, that didn't stop super fans like Steve Roth from showing up.

"We drove through snow getting here Friday and we're going to drive through snow getting home tonight," Roth said.

Fans like Roth have waited all winter to watch the baseball game that’s why they weren't going to let the cold stop them.

"Oh, its Cardinal baseball why wouldn't we. We've been waiting all winter for it you know. It’s good it’s not raining, it’s not snowing, so its Cardinals baseball," Roth said.

Although temperatures were frigid, Roth looks forward to braving the cold temperatures to cheer on the Cards any day. And while others are using different tactics to stay warm he said screaming for the team is what will keep him warm.

"It’s Cardinal nation we got to support them," Roth said.
