ST. LOUIS - Chilly days and frigid nights are expected in St. Louis through Saturday. Mild weather arrives by Sunday.

St. Louis stays cloudy and cold all day with another cold front pushing through Thursday afternoon. Morning temperatures near 20° will rise toward 30 around midday, before falling again back into the 20s by 3 p.m. A strong front moves through with no moisture but plenty of cloud cover and wind this afternoon. Wind chill temperatures will fall into the teens late this afternoon.

Frigid temperatures overnight for the bi-state are forecast, with lows in the single digits. Wind chill temperatures will be below zero tonight and on Friday morning.

Friday we’ll see more clouds with a few snow showers possible. High temperatures near 30. Similar conditions are expected Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures rising into the middle and upper 30s.

On Monday a stronger cold front will bring rain during the day followed by a change to snow for the St. Louis region. Temperatures will peak in the 40s but rapidly drop on Monday night.

The weather is very cold much of next week, with daytime temperatures in the teens to around 20 degrees, overnight temperatures in the single digits.
