Famous New York City chef to open restaurant in St. Louis

The restaurant inside Angad Arts Hotel at 634 N. Grand Blvd. will be called Grand Tavern.

An acclaimed chef, restauranteur and author is developing a new concept in St. Louis.

Chef David Burke, in partnership with ESquared Hospitality of New York, will open a restaurant this fall in the Angad Arts Hotel in Midtown. Burke is known for his appearance on Iron Chef America, several restaurants in New York City and around the world, as well as the author of two cookbooks.

The restaurant inside Angad Arts Hotel at 634 N. Grand Blvd. will be called Grand Tavern.

Grand Tavern will be the main restaurant, bar and lounge within the hotel, according to a statement from ESquared Hospitality. Guests will enjoy shareable small plates and drinks in the front bar and lounge, as well as a full menu in the main dining room.
