Man killed in Friday crash on Highway B in Jefferson County identified

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Highway B was closed for an investigation, but the road has since reopened.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. — Highway B in Jefferson County was closed for hours for the investigation of a fatal crash.

The crash happened at around 12:38 p.m. on Highway B near Klondike Farms Road.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a driver was heading north in his 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan on Highway B when he crossed the center line and struck a 1996 Chrysler Concorde.

Paul Scaglione, 88, was driving the Concorde and died in the crash. An 87-year-old woman riding with him was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the other car, a 33-year-old man, also suffered serious injuries.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Highway B was closed for an investigation, but the road has since reopened.
