In-N-Out? Soulcycle? Which retail brands do you want most in St. Louis?

If you could bring one regional restaurant to St. Louis, which would you pick?

While the St. Louis region is at a logistics crossroads, with plenty of consumer buying power, it sometimes has to wait for what seems like forever to win locations for some retailers.

The region finally attracted the likes of Ikea, Lego, Crate & Barrel, Trader Joe’s, Krispy Kreme and Shake Shack.

While e-commerce continues to take a bigger bite of brick-and-mortar retail, St. Louis consumers still yearn for new places to eat and shop.

Far and away the favorite, mentioned by over 52 percent of respondents, was iconic West Coast burger chain In-N-Out, followed by a similar number who mentioned Bloomingdale's. Immediately behind with nearly 43 percent of respondents listing it was Amazon, in all its brick-and-mortar incarnations: 4-star, Pop-Up and Books.
