ST. LOUIS — Good news for motorists who travel on Interstate 44 in St. Louis.

The Missouri Department of Transportation said crews will move three lanes of I-44 westbound between Grand and Kingshighway back into their original lanes starting at 7 a.m. on Dec. 4. MoDOT said work should be done by 2:30 p.mm.

The Vandeventer ramp to westbound I-44 should be back open by 2:30 p.m.

The left lane in both directions of I-44 in the area will remain closed while crews finish replacing the barrier wall in the middle of the interstate. Completion of that work will depend upon weather, officials said.
