ST. LOUIS — The Loop Trolley tracks were down to just one train Thursday night after one of the trains was hit by a car.

A tweet from the Loop Tolley account said train 001 was hit by a car.

A trolley spokesperson said the crash happened at around 5 p.m. The train was able to drive back to the headquarters for inspection.

This is not the first issue the trolley has encountered this year. On January 3, riders waited about half an hour until a driver moved their SUV which was parked just enough in the way that it delayed the trolley.
