JERSEY COUNTY, Ill. — A Grafton man was killed after he flipped his 2006 Jeep Wrangler and was thrown from the car in a single-car crash in Jersey County Saturday night.
The Illinois State Police said 30-year-old Daniel Gardner was driving north on US Route 67 near Burch Lane at around 9 p.m. when he started driving off the right side of the road. Police said he over-corrected, swerved to the left and flipped into a ditch on the left side of the road.
He was thrown from the car and killed in the crash.
