Man shot, in critical condition after road rage in Ferguson

As for the driver who did the shooting, police believe, at this time, it was likely self-defense. He did call police after the shooting and he has been cooperating with officers.

FERGUSON, Mo. – Police in Ferguson, Missouri, are investigating after a road rage incident left one man shot and critically injured Tuesday night.

Ferguson Police Chief Delrish Moss said the shooting was reported near the intersection of South Florissant and Carson Roads Tuesday. Moss said they are working with the prosecutor's office to determine if it was a case of self-defense.

Ferguson police said a man was cut off by another driver, so he got out of his car at the intersection of Carson and South Florissant and started arguing with the driver.He then went back to his car, rummaged around, then went back to the driver and said, "you want me to shoot your face." Police say that's when the driver shot him, multiple times.

The investigation is ongoing.
