New details have been released about a shooting involving a St. Louis city marshal.

According to a police report, the 58-year-old city marshal with five years of service was leaving City Hall after finishing her shift when she saw 34-year-old Kevin George assaulting a woman inside a vehicle.

When George saw the marshal, he began to aggressively approach her, and after several warnings, the marshal shot him in the leg. George ran from the scene, but was found lying in the street two blocks away.
