12-year-old girl in north St. Louis County found safe

The St. Louis County Police Department has canceled an Endangered Person Advisory for 12-year-old Destinee Purnell.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — The St. Louis County Police Department has canceled an Endangered Person Advisory for 12-year-old Destinee Purnell. She was found safe Sunday, police said, without adding any further details.

St. Louis County police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 12-year-old girl.

Destinee Purnell was last seen at 12:25 a.m. Sunday. She got into an argument with her mother and walked out of the house, police said.

Purnell suffers from asthma and requires an EpiPen and pills, which she didn’t take.

She was last seen in the 1100 block of Reale Avenue in the Spanish Lake area of north St. Louis County.

Destinee is described as being 5’6”, 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green jack, pink shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Police have issued an Endangered Person Advisory in hopes of finding Destinee.

Anyone seeing the missing person, suspect, associate, or vehicle, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the St. Louis County Police Department at 636-529-8210.
