ST. LOUIS — Boeing is getting some help moving a large aircraft from their facility to MidAmerica Airport overnight Sunday.

Boeing said the MQ-25, an unmanned aircraft, would be conducting tests at the airport, but because of its size, making the trip would not be simple.

With the help of MoDOT, IDOT and the state police in both Missouri and Illinois, they started the slow roll to the destination. The route consists of mostly side roads. The truck carrying the aircraft traveled well below the speed limit for much of the treck.

Boeing said it expected the plane to arrive at around 6 a.m. Monday.
