ST. LOUIS — Drivers should use caution while traveling along St. Louis roadways for the next two weeks.

Beginning Thursday morning, MoDOT crews will close Forest Park Parkway under Grand and near Interstate 64 to make repairs. Both the ramps entering and exiting I-64 from the parkway will be affected, as well as fixes to drainage, curbs, guardrail and the median barrier wall.

Traffic in both directions along Forest Park Parkway will be rerouted up and over the Grand intersections, and through the traffic signals along Grand, while crews reconstruct the roadway. However, the westbound I-64 ramp to Forest Park Parkway will remain open with narrow lanes.

Additionally, MoDOT crews will close access from both directions of Compton to westbound Forest Park Parkway and Grand and will close access from westbound Market to Forest Park Parkway and Grand beginning Thursday.

Construction is expected to last for at least two weeks.
