McDonald's worker alleges on-site sexual harassment... right here in St. Louis, and they aren't alone. The worker, a 15-year-old, said they were groped, propositioned for sex, and subjected to both indecent exposure and lewd comments by their supervisors. However, once they reported the inappropriate behavior, the qualms were met with mockery, and sometimes, retaliation. The St. Louis teenager is one of 10 McDonald's employees around the country who have come forward with the work-related allegations.

Have you ever dreamed of getting your degree... while you were still in high school? That's exactly what East St. Louis senior Montez Holton accomplished — and his high school graduation just wrapped up. Holton received his Associate's Degree from Southwest Illinois College in Belleville as part of East St. Louis School District's Running Start Program, which offers a college education free of cost as long as the student is willing to stack on their palette of homework and learning. Congratulations to Montez!

Speech is still a struggle an injured officer... but thanks to iPad technology, he can communicate in more ways than one. Last March, St. Louis officer Gary Glasby was rammed by a truck while he was on duty, leaving him with months of physical therapy to relearn basic functions. One year later, Glasby has 'App2Speak' to help say what he can't, a gift which was difficult to accomplish prior to the introduction of the iPad-friendly app. The app is available to anyone with a speech impairment and is fully customizable.
