St. Louis rapper Nelly had Louisiana cheering on the Blues at a concert Friday night. His hometown team is one win away from winning the Stanley Cup.
Nelly performed at the Golden Nugget Lake Charles in Louisiana on June 7.
“On the count of 3 I need Lake Charles, Louisiana to say ‘Let’s go Blues!’”
So it’s safe to say we have some Blues fans in Louisiana.
Nelly has always represented his St. Louis team. Remember the ‘Country Grammar’ video? He wore a Cardinals and a Blues jersey in the music video.
Nelly was at Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final in St. Louis.
