The St. Louis brewery is rolling out a new mobile app that will alert drinkers when Schlafly beer is on tap nearby.

It works by installing special beacons at bars and restaurants that serve Schlafly, which can connect remotely with nearby devices that have the app.

Users can then receive notifications about drink specials, tasting notes, new beer releases and more.

Right now, the beacons have been installed in 50 locations, with plans to expand to over 250 bars and restaurants by May 2016.

The app is available for download in the Apple app store, and will go live on April 1.

Right now, the Schlafly app does not appear to be available for Android devices.
