Officer Flamion's home gets 'Walls Of Honor'

Construction is at the halfway point for a custom home being built for a Ballwin police officer shot on the job. The community is coming together to help get the job done.

Officer Mike Flamion was shot in the neck during a traffic stop last summer.

He and his wife are moving into this custom home that will be easier to get around and help him regain some independence.

The Gary Sinise Foundation is behind the project. The actor's charity has a program that helps law enforcement and veteran families around the country, but they say they house couldn't be done without this community support.

It's the first time they've built a house like this for a first responder. It will be completely wheelchair accessible, and let Officer Flamion handle many of the controls from his iPad.
