The Hazelwood Police Officer paralyzed in an on-duty crash in August will be getting an updated home thanks to The Gary Sinise Foundation.
Officer Craig Tudor's wife said the actor's foundation will be helping them stay in their home by making it accessible for Tudor's motorized wheelchair.
Tudor went to Craig Hospital in Colorado for treatment, and returned in November. The Tudors will live in their home while the updates are being made.
Officer Mike Flamion also received treatment at Craig Hospital and is having a home outfitted by the Sinise Foundation as well.
In 2012, The Gary Sinise Foundation began its Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment(RISE) program to help severely wounded veterans and first responders.
