JERSEY CO., Ill. – Officials are urging residents in Nutwood to evacuate the area.
Illinois Emergency Management Agency shared the post to its Facebook just after 11 a.m. Saturday.
They’re urging people in the community of Nutwood to evacuate due to further deterioration of the Nutwood Levee.
Officials said to travel east out of Nutwood to Jerseyville.
