Outages reported across Missouri due to wind

Crews have been out making repairs and hope to have power restored in a few hours.

ST. LOUIS – During the winter storm that rolled through Missouri on Saturday, Ameren reported more than 6,000 power outages.

Around 1 p.m., a large tree fell on power lines in the Rock Hill area. Ameren said wind was to blame for the outage.

Crews have been out making repairs and hope to have power restored in a few hours.

As of 7:30 p.m., 2,000 people were without power. As of 9 p.m., there were only 700 people wihtout power.
