ST. LOUIS – Today in St. Louis anchor and reporter Jenn Sullivan has signed a new contract with 5 On Your Side and will continue anchoring the 4 a.m. newscast and reporting for the show.
Jenn grew up just outside of Chicago and came to 5 On Your Side from WICS in Springfield, Ill. She fell in love with St. Louis on weekend trips to town.
“St. Louis is rich with culture and the fanatic sports fans give this city a pulse that you just don’t find anywhere else,” said Jenn. “People are constantly telling me, ‘I grew up watching 5 On Your Side.’ I’ll never get tired of hearing that. I feel blessed to work at a station that has such an extensive relationship with this community, and to work alongside such seasoned journalists. I’m so happy I can call St. Louis home.”
Jenn earned a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from Miami University and a master’s in journalism from DePaul University.
“I love telling stories. Journalism allows me to continue that passion in a different way,” said Jenn. “Rather than create characters, I get to share stories of real people who make a difference in our community.
