ST. LOUIS – An investigation is underway after a patient stole an ambulance from Saint Louis University Hospital Wednesday morning.
Around 3:25 a.m., emergency service crews transported a 48-year-old man to the hospital after they found him in the street.
During treatment, the man left the emergency room and stole an ambulance, which was parked outside. A short time later, officers found the ambulance near Mississippi and LaSalle. The suspect was taken into custody.
