Police: No signs of foul play in death of missing Alton woman

The Madison County Sheriff's Office is still conducting routine alcohol and drug studies for a final ruling on a cause of death.

MADISON COUNTY, Ill.- There are no signs of foul play or trauma on a missing Alton woman who was found dead on Tuesday, Jan. 31.

The 39-year-old was found about 30 feet from Horseshoe Lake State Park.

Adria Hatten went missing on Jan. 21. During a search started by Hatten's family and friends on Jan. 27, people found evidence including a pill bottle and clothes, near her abandoned vehicle off of Big Bend Road in Madison.
