Precautionary boil advisory lifted Friday morning for parts of south St. Louis

Mayor Krewson announced the advisory was lifted Friday morning.

ST. LOUIS — The precautionary boil advisory for a portion of south St. Louis was lifted Friday morning.

On Thursday, a water main break opened a large hole on Lindell Boulevard.

A press release from the mayor's office said the area of the advisory was:

  • North of Arsenal to Oakland between Kingshighway and the western City limit.
  • South of Arsenal to Chippewa between Kingshighway and Hampton.
