It would be a safe bet that you grab your phone to check your notifications: Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter. While the range of use varies from case to case, the numbers show that as a whole, society is addicted to social media. For Recovery Week,' 5 On Your Side is sharing more about how people of all ages are connecting—and how you can tone it down on the social media use.

Teens

  • Sprout doesn’t track data from teens, but research is proving they are dropping Facebook in favor of Instagram and Snapchat as their preferred platforms.
