ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis Alderman was arrested Monday afternoon in north St. Louis.
John Collins-Muhammad was driving on North Sarah when he hit the back of another vehicle stopped at a stop sign. Investigation revealed, he had five active St. Louis City bench warrants and one fugitive warrant from Jefferson City.
Collins-Muhammad is Alderman for Ward 21. He was arrested for outstanding warrants and issued citations for failing to display proof of insurance, following another vehicle too close and driving while his license is suspended.
No one was injured in the accident.
Collins-Muhammad was released Tuesday afternoon.
