ST. LOUIS – Giving back is nothing new for Lola Jean’s Giveback Coffee, I mean – the coffee shop has giveback in its name.

Every month, the coffee shop in St. Louis’ Southampton neighborhood donates 100 percent of its profits to a different St. Louis charity that gives back to the community.

A portion of every cup of coffee sold will benefit the organization that helps feed individuals in need around Greater St. Louis, Lola Jean’s said.

To kick off the new year, the coffee shop will donate to St. Louis Area Foodbank.

The café is located at 5400 Nottingham Ave. and it’s open Tuesday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The St. Louis Area Foodbank feeds over 392,600 people in the bi-state region each year, a third of whom are children. Last year alone, the St. Louis Area Foodbank provided more than 37 million meals to local children, families and seniors in 26 Missouri and Illinois counties.
