St. Louis County participating in National Take-Back Day on Oct. 28

National Take-Back Day is a collaborative effort with state and local law enforcement agencies focused on removing potentially dangerous controlled substances from our nation’s medicine cabinets.  
First responders in St. Clair County are seeing a deadly connection between painkillers and heroin.

The St. Louis County Police Department will participate in the annual National Take Back Initiative on Oct. 28.

The department has 12 locations where anyone can drop off unused, unwanted or found prescription drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 28.
