ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis woman picked up and left town after her nephew, son and brother are all shot and killed in the span of a single year.
Rhonda Mack packed up her bags and moved to Florida, but she's visiting St. Louis to help the children left behind by the three men who were killed in her family.
A vigil was held last year at St. Louis Place Park for Mack's nephew, Cameron Wilson.
Police said Wilson and another man shot at each other after a car crash last year on Father's Day. Wilson died. The other man survived.
Mack said her oldest son was murdered less than a week later and her brother was killed in February of this year.
No one was arrested for their murders.
She said the three men leave behind 15 children. Mack is going to hold three different benefits at the St. Louis Skatium to raise money for the children of the relatives that were killed.
The first one will take place on Thursday from 11 p.m. until 3 a.m. Friday.
